About The Corns Family
Please sign in to see more. The Corns Family website contains ancestors from my father's side starting with CORNS, HARPER, INETT, and HALLIWELL, and from my mother's side starting with PETERS, SHULL, LANE, YORGES, and many other names that make up this tree.
Every effort has been made to be accurate and correct in recording my relatives, both deceased and living. If however, you find where corrections should be made I welcome your comments, just click on the above link ("send a message" or "contact me"), or you may email me direct if you have my address.
Throughout this site you will find stories, details of personal activities, occupations, hobbies, achievements, awards, and anything else that will provide a closer insight to my relatives and ancestors, and their families.
Also, I would like your help in providing information on relatives who are not listed or are not complete, both living or deceased - please supply the full name and the following events - birth, marriage, death, and burial dates along with the locations of the event - city, county, state, and country. If the event occurred outside the USA, then the equivalent for the city, county, and state.

Since this will be an ongoing process, I will be adding information, photos, and newly discovered information on a regular basis.
An example is the information I received recently from Dennis WOOD, my 3rd cousin once removed, on an ancestor from our INETT line who was quite "famous/notorious" - Ann INETT b.1754. You may read her story by clicking on Useful Links, "From Gallows to Glory" at the bottom of this Home Page.
Many relatives have contributed to this website, several are newly found. Dennis WOOD,who I just mentioned, is one of those. I am greatly indebted to him. Dennis has provided much information and photos for the following families, CORNS, FERRIER, HOLLENDER, INETT, MASON, and WOOD. There is a link to his website below. Contact him for access. I also am most grateful to my 1st cousin Phyllis LAUER née MANNAUSA for her interest and desire in assisting me. She has contacted several relatives and provided photos and dates which has added much needed information to this Family History site. She was responsible for obtaining the photo, from another relative, of John Thomas HARPER (our great grandfather) in his military uniform. He served as one of Queen Victoria's Royal Guards.
It was a smaller version of the same photo my Grandma Corns had displayed above her piano in her living room.
Thank you for visiting this site, I hope to have provided you with a closer awareness of our relatives and our ancestry.
This website is dedicated in loving memory of my Mother and Father, Pearl Luella CORNS née PETERS and Leonard CORNS. Both were loving, caring, encouraging, and supportive parents. I miss them.
If you are a relative and would like to create a website for your family, please let me know and I will try to help. Tribal Pages is a free website and very easy to use. |
